Artist * Writer * Fairy Godmother
The images you will find here are alterations of my artwork. This process is fun for me because it allows any idea that does not work to disappear with a click of the delete key. I select one of my painting stored on my computer and begin to play. I usually use Photoshop to start and just play with the image until something I can work with appears. Then I print it on photo paper. Artists, over time, collect all kinds of art supplies and assorted stuff that they like to call art supplies. I embellish the print using any combination of supplies until I find an image that I like. If nothing good comes of the effort, I simply drop that print into the trash and make another print of the painting and start over. No pressure.......no tragic mistakes and sometimes an altered masterpiece. I save what is in the trash to tear into what might be used in a torn paper piece some time in the future. It's a win-win endeavor and great fun.
