About

I am among the heirs to a wondrous planet.
I am a keeper of seeds and guardian of the soil.
I drive the country roads in search of butterflies that flutter among the lush green summer growth.
On August nights when the moon is high I walk alone into the woodland to watch the fireflies gather about me.
I bathe in God’s heavenly beauty that quietly intoxicates my soul.
I am so very small; helpless to protect the things I cherish from the changing times.

I am haunted by thoughts of lost meadows and the silent ghost that once was spring.

It's unusual what this site is "ABOUT". I know it's not about selling or profit of any kind since most is not for sale. I think it's more about giving or perhaps just sharing. Most of the pieces you see here have been sold or given to someone I love.
I photographed each painting as I sold them or placed them in a show or gallery so I have copies of most of them.
I had goals of receiving a best in show awards, receiving purchase awards and having two hundred pieces of art work out in the world somewhere. One day several years ago I decided to count. I had gratefully reached the first two goals and wondered if I had hit the two hundred paintings out in the world mark. When I counted past two hundred and fifty I quit counting. I don't count anymore but I still paint.
All of that might seem impressive before I tell you that I will soon be 87 years old. I have had a lot of years to reach three little goals. I hope you will enjoy the artwork and their stories. I have had great fun in finding a way to share them with you.
